Avita & Tyler: Three Day Wedding Celebration

The second day of our three-day wedding celebration took place on Friday, with a traditional Indian ceremony. We were blessed with sunny skies for the entire weekend, and days of smiles and dancing.

Here is Avita getting ready for the ceremony. Isn't she stunning?

This photo of Avita with her mother is one of our favorites.

Gwen & Minner Hobbs of Flowers in Season draped sheer fabrics and strung hundreds of orchids to decorate the Mandaap for the ceremony.

Community members cooked for days to prepare a traditional Indian wedding feast. The food was amazing!

The couple were then showered in marigold petals as they left for the evening.

But there is still one more day! Check back soon for photos from Landwherle Photography of the formal reception!

  1. Beautiful:) We were lucky enough to have Avita visit our spa a few days before the wedding ceremony for some pampering.

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your weddings are gorgeous and I bet they are the envy of many. I grew up in South Burlington and my parents are still there (93 years old), so the Champlain Valley is our usual Vermont base of operation. We have talked of doing the the Ben and Jerry, Cold Hollow and Stowe route sometime soon. I haven't been to Stowe in at least 20 years...time flies!
